Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Glim ("Glim", "we", "us") about your use of the Glim mobile app and related services (the "Service"). By using Glim you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. Using Glim

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country, if higher). If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission.
• You are responsible for your account, for keeping your sign-in details safe, and for what you do in the app.
• We may update, change or remove features at any time.

2. Your content

• You keep ownership of the photos and other content you add ("Your Content").
• You give us a limited licence to store, process and display Your Content only as needed to run the Service for you, for example to build your posts, back up your projects and run AI edits you ask for.
• You promise you have the right to use what you add, and that it doesn't break the law or anyone else's rights. Only use photos of other people if they agree.
• Don't upload illegal, hateful, sexual content involving minors, or content that is violent or harassing.

3. Templates, stickers and other Glim content

The templates, stickers, frames, widgets, sample images and designs in Glim belong to us or our licensors. You may use them to create posts for yourself and to share on social media, including on commercial accounts. You may not copy, resell, redistribute or extract them as a library, or use them to build a competing product.

4. AI edits

Glim can use AI to change your photos, for example hairstyle, makeup or lighting. Results are simulations. They are not a promise of how you will look, and they are not medical, cosmetic or professional advice. AI can make mistakes, and the output may not be perfect. Only edit photos you have the right to edit.

5. Subscriptions

• Some features are free. Premium features, including premium templates, stickers, frames, widgets, longer projects, no watermark and weekly AI edits, need a paid subscription.
• Subscriptions are weekly and renew automatically until you cancel. Payment is charged to your Apple ID (or Google Play account) when you confirm the purchase.
• Your subscription renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Manage or cancel in your device settings: on iPhone, Settings > your name > Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• We may offer an introductory price for a first period. When it ends, the normal price applies automatically unless you cancel first. An introductory offer is available once per person.
• Plans include a number of AI edits per period. Unused edits do not carry over.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. We can't issue refunds for purchases made through them.
• Prices may change. We will tell you, and the store will ask for your agreement where the law requires it.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse Glim. This includes trying to break or bypass the app, its limits or its paywall, scraping or copying content, reverse engineering it, using it to harm or impersonate others, or overloading our systems.

7. Ending your account

You can delete your account and data any time in the app: Settings > Delete My Data. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms. Some terms, such as ownership and limits on our responsibility, continue after your account ends.

8. Disclaimers

Glim is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise that the app will always work, be error-free or be available, or that AI results will meet your expectations. Features may change.

9. Limits on our responsibility

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Glim is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or lost profits. Our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

10. Apple's terms

If you downloaded Glim from the Apple App Store, Apple's standard licence agreement (Licensed Application End User License Agreement) also applies. Apple isn't responsible for the app or its support.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version. If you keep using Glim after a change, you accept the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [YOUR COUNTRY / STATE], without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where your local law requires otherwise.
